EAA Chapter UL110

Experimental Aircraft Association
OUR MISSION - to ensure through sharing of knowledge and experience, that we facilitate the integration of Ultralight and Light Sport Aviation with other forms of General Aviation. It is our intention to embrace the elements of fun, camaraderie, and safety throughout our activities, and to respectfully promote the sport of aviation to the non-flying community.
SVU of EAA is the Silicon Valley Ultralight Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). The Chapter is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of general aviation. We pursue this goal through a variety of educational activities and programs for custom aircraft builders and other aviation enthusiasts.
The Chapter makes its home at San Jose South County Airport (E16) in San Martin. We hold our monthly meetings generally on the third Saturday of the month at the Wings of History Museum adjacent to the airport. These meetings feature: presentations on many aspects of general aviation, resource sharing by pilots and builders, team project reviews and are a friendly get-together for members and visitors.
In addition to the monthly meetings, SVU of EAA offers many additional benefits. We present many educational programs for novice and experienced flyers alike. And we participate in programs designed to introduce the non-flying community to the value and joy of flight.
SVU of EAA events are a friendly place where visitors are welcome. If you fly, or if you are interested in flying, please accept our invitation to attend the next monthly meeting. We look forward to meeting you soon.
