Harrison won recognition for coming the greatest distance to attend, 1200
miles.
John
Gould, president, led the meeting.
Our
main thrust at this time is to create and establish a working relationship
with governing bodies, including local airport authorities.
Discussion:
So. County (Q99) event recently with Jerry Bennett
and 3 staff people. Rides in a Challenger, exploring noise issues and
possibilities for patterns.
Doug Rice, County Airport Commission arrived. He laid
out many issues affecting Q99 developments and possibilities for ultralights.
Mr. Rice is also president of the California Pilots Association.

Dome brought his airplane and set it up for our pleasure and viewing following
the meeting.
