EAA JUNE minutes
9:00 am until 1:00 pm Pre-meeting for Light sport instructional class. John Feemster, our chief pilot and EAA Flight Advisor conducted class for ten students that included current pilots wishing to review for currency and BFR prep. The class was well reviewed with plans to conduct a continuing mini class over lunch before future EAA meetings. People will be invited to bring their lunch and questions.
Noon until 1:00 pm Officers’ meeting was held at the Black Bear Café in Gilroy. Lou presided while John took notes. Vaughn presented the updated schematic over view of the chapter with each officer to red line the document. Mary’s treasury report was continuing good financial news and verification that all know of the next hangar rent increase. Stephen provided the EAA hangar status and management actions to the county. Bob Shea volunteered to assist Blade upgrade the web site.

New and Old Business:
Gould to contact Mike Nixon about status of his morgan hill runway.
Shea proposed creation of life time membership for fund raising.
Web site ads were reviewed noting three aircraft for sale and shared ownership available in two aircraft. See web.
Treasurer's Report of about $850 in the bank before Gould buys snacks.
July 19th meeting will be a 9:00 am free pancake breakfast at Hnagar 12A near the Weatherly Hangar with donations accepted. Gould and Arndt to provide camp stoves and operational skills. Invitations will be sent to areas EAA chapters to fly-in and eat.
August 16th meeting will Show and Tell: Bring your GPS, Radio, Flight Computer…The lunch class will be on navigation.
