The meeting was called to order at 1:30 pm by Lou Janis, President.
Lou has taken over the job of President, as Mike Ettl vacated the position.
Minutes of the May meeting were accepted.
Treasurer’s report: John Gould reported that we have $1615 in our kitty.
Lou gave a brief presentation on the visit to Castle Air Force Base.
Lou and John Gould described the odyssey of bringing home their new Odyssey, with photos. Rusty, Lou, John G., and George Nicholson flew to Oregon in Rusty’s C-182. Lou and John brought the Odyssey to Los Banos, and parked it there.
We decided to hold our Pancake Breakfast on July 21st, in concurrence with our scheduled July meeting. It will be at Hollister Airport, 08:00 – 10:00 at Hangar 12A, with the July meeting convening at 1:30, somewhere on the airport.
On September 15, we will join in with EAA 62, in their Poker Run, to finish at South County Airport. This is in concurrence with our Sep. meeting.
John Feemster is now a Flight Advisor with the EAA.
Steve White recommends the FAA Wings program to GA pilots. The next event is on June 30 in Monterey, starting at 09:00 at Monterey Bay Aviation.
The meeting was closed at 1:55 pm.
