2. Lou presented a proposed calendar for the year. Lou’s rough draft
list follows
· February – Ask for a volunteer – LSA Plane Rules (Tech Talk)
· March - Stephen Mann on Weather (Tech Talk)
· April – Ask for a volunteer – LSA Pilot Rules (Tech Talk)
· May – Wings of History / Airport Day (South County)
· June – Ask for a volunteer – LSA Written Test (Tech Talk)
· July – Pancake Breakfast – Invite others (Hollister Airport)
· August – Hot Springs Fly-in/Drive-in ?
· Sept. – Ask for a volunteer - LSA Check Ride (Tech Talk)
· Oct. – need a volunteer – Lessons about building (Tech Talk)

3. There were much discussion and many volunteers for future meetings. Following are the additions completed during this lively discussion and will be sorted and firmed:
. Rich Grialou on electrical systems (April or later)
. John Feemster, Flight advisor, Sat. morning bi-annual review
. John Feemster, FA, all day LSA written review, DAR ck ride
. Steve White FAA wings program.
. GPS hand-helds, share and tell day.
. April Fly or drive out to mercy hot springs at Panoche
4. New business
. Dues are due
. Chapter Promotions discussion using Post card mailers, newspaper
editorials and other groups’ newsletters. Much discussion ensued of how to promote understanding of the new sport pilot requirements. And likewise that the new sport aircraft may not be experimental nor Ultralight.
. ‘WOH open house is may 10.
. Name badges are $5 with a $2 chapter subsidy
. Steve white is going to contact Gavilan college aviation program and invite them to our meetings.
5. Harold Marchant’s wife passed away today. The chapter will inquire
about the families wishes for grief expression.
