Minutes: October 21, 2006, Meeting of EAA Ultralight Squadron 110
The meeting was called to order at 1:35 pm at the Wings of History Clubhouse, by Club President, John Feemster.
Minutes of the September meeting were accepted as posted on the web site.
John Gould announced that we have $2072.00 in the treasury account.
There was discussion about Hangars.
Jim Ward is building a Wheeler Express and wants a space for it soon.
The idea of “sub-leasing” came up – not officially allowed at South County – however it may be possible with hangars sitting empty at this time.
Hollister hangars are becoming available as more airplanes move to South County.
It was noted that aircraft lifts are available for $6,000 – $7,000.
Nominations were announced for the upcoming election of new Club officers in November.
Mike Ettl and Lou Janis stepped forward as contenders for President and Vice-President. There has been discussion since the meeting on line. The positions and people may flip.
Club Dues are due in November at $25.00 per year. Make checks payable to “EAA 110”.
We are planning to share our Christmas Party/Meeting with the Wings of History group, in the clubhouse on December 9th, one week earlier than our normal meeting day.
Rich Grialou offered to set up a Poker Run with EAA 62 (RHV), and the EAA groups at Hollister and Watsonville, for some time in 2007.
